From 2016 – 2018 we operated two leagues comprising events across the region:
- North East Orienteering League (NEOL) comprising a mixture of events
- North East Urban League (NEUL) dedicated to urban and sprint racing

The clubs in the region decided to discontinue these leagues from 2019 onwards, due to lack of interest or evidence they were actually affecting people’s decision to attend races, and lack of a league coordinator, and our time an energy was better spent in other ways in the clubs.
